Bandai Namco Entertainment had announced the official date of Dark Souls Remastered for the Switch! It will be coming to Switch on October 19th so get yourselves ready to praise the sun on that day! Why? That’s because upon release, an Amiibo figurine of the famous Solaire of Astora will also be available for sale! So players can prove their faith by using the ‘Praise the Sun’ gesture from the beginning. Of course, you can obtain the gesture through regular gameplay but why wait when you can praise the sun from the very beginning of your adventure!
Also, prior to its release, there will be an online network test scheduled to make sure everything is smooth sailing. With the Switch Version, players will be able to experience 1080p on TV mode or the usual 720p on Portable mode. It will still be running at 30 fps but hey it still looks great!
