Published by Bandai Namco, this title marks the first chapter in an ambitious new saga that promises to deliver a gripping blend of narrative and action. Cinematic and Gameplay Reveal

The cinematic reveal trailer, accompanied by a gameplay teaser, introduces players to the 14th-century Europe setting, where humanity grapples with the aftermath of the Black Death. The game’s narrative unfolds in the remote Carpathian Mountains, where vampires rise from obscurity to challenge the existing feudal lords. Players assume the role of Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker, navigating a precarious existence between humanity and vampirism. This duality plays a central role in both the story and gameplay, as players face a 30-day countdown to either save Coen’s family or succumb to vengeance against his sire.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz described The Blood of Dawnwalker as a “narrative sandbox,” where players’ choices and actions affect the progression of the game’s intertwined main and side quests. Time is a critical resource, making each decision impactful, and ensuring no two playthroughs are the same.

The game’s mechanics leverage Unreal Engine 5 to create a richly detailed open world, with gameplay varying based on the time of day, reflecting Coen’s hybrid nature. Players will balance vampiric powers with human resilience as they navigate complex moral choices and combat encounters.
