Chinese rhythm game Dancing City has announced an open beta. Fans of the game can try their hand come October 29th. The game’s trailer can be viewed here.
The game features full-length songs from all your favorite Korean and Japanese artists, like PSY and Garnidelia. It also features anime-style visuals, and faithfully recreated choreography.
The game’s songs come in three different difficulties, with full-length beatmaps for the songs. If nothing else, this game is going to be great for those long car rides.
Dancing City will also feature a gacha mechanic, though only for cosmetic items. You can also raise the characters in the game, though what effects this will have are currently unknown.
It’s only available in China for now, though due to the amount of first-party music it’s unknown if it will ever get an English release. Music licensing is a big problem with game releases, and it would make sense if this was another such case.
Dancing City is available on Android and iOS.
