According to one of Malaysia’s best license agents for anime across the country, Muse Malaysia has announced that Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye has been officially licensed for airing in Malaysia! Other countries available for airing include Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and India.
Following after the first seasons spiritual occultic humor and high-stakes adventure being left on a cliffhanger, the anime returns with a new arc featuring more thrill and crazier plot twists.
Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye features the first three episodes of the second season that will air as one movie. Based on the title, Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye will center the Evil Eye yokai and as it spreads its wreak of havoc towards the protagonists. And with one of the posters hinting the Evil Eye yokai peering over a distressed Jiji, it will not be hard to connect the dots as to what may happen further into the anime.
There is speculation as to when the anime will air in Malaysia since the initial announcement for a worldwide release was this July. This scheduling time may also apply to Malaysia’s case as well.
There is also expectations for Netflix to air the anime as it has already been added into the streaming service beforehand. There is high hopes that this three episode combined movie will showcase an amazing comeback into the eccentric occultic anime.
It will also bring about new hijinks and heartfelt moments between the spiritual, popular Momo Ayase and the alienated, awkward guy Ken “Okarun” Takakura with more recurring characters and more of Turbo Granny returning to the screen very soon.
