Live out your virtual DJ dreams with D4DJ Groovy Mix English release, available today.
The game will let you collect girls from various DJ units, such as the happy-go-lucky Happy Around, to the space themed Photon Maiden as you play through a variety of songs to get the highest score.
As previously reported, Bushiroad has said they wouldn’t be able to let you carry over your account from the Japanese version due to licensing issues with the game’s music, however you can still apply for a one-time account transfer.
At the time of writing, servers aren’t up yet. However, you can already download the game, ahead of the servers turning on at 7.00am UTC (3.00pm Malaysia time).
While it doesn’t have parity with the Japanese release, barring the aforementioned music licensing issues fans of the game have plenty to look forward to as D4DJ has a pretty star-studded list of collaborations. The Japanese game has done collaborations with Monster Hunter, Hololive and even Shin Godzilla. ON the music end, it’s also featured remixes by producers like TeddyLoid.
For those looking to be more acquainted with the game’s host of DJs, the D4DJ English YouTube channel has also posted promotional videos introducing the different units in the game, along with episodes of the D4DJ anime with English subtitles.
