Cygames Establishes America and Europe Divisions

Japanese developer Cygames has established two new international offices, these being Cygames America which will be based in Los Angeles California, and Cygames Europe with will be based in London, in The United Kingdom.

According to the announcement on their official website, the establishment of these two new branches was part of the company’s attempt to promote their games in North America and Europe.

“In keeping with the company’s vision to be the best in entertainment, Cygames strives to continue providing high-quality content for fans all around the globe.”

Cygames has published a number of popular mobile games over the years. Their most popular title of probably Granblue Fantasy which has become a popular franchise since its initial launch in 2014.

Currently, Granblue has not been released outside of Japan (although its fighting game spin-off has), which makes me wonder if these new international branches could lead to it getting localized. Nothing has been confirmed yet though.

Other titles they’ve developed include Uma Musume Pretty Derby, Princess Connect! Re:Dive, Shadowverse, and Rage of Bahamut.
