More news is set to be revealed for Cyberpunk 2077, via something called “Night City Wire”, coming 11 June 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 itself is set to release this coming 17 September. The previous reveals have been a Deep Dive in 2019, as well as some set pieces shown off at GameStart Asia 2019, which you can respectively check out here and here.
Night City is the setting for the game, so perhaps we can expect something of a broadcast styled like an in-game cutscene. There’s no specifics at this point regarding the contents of the Night City Wire itself, so Cyberpunk fans would have to keep guessing until the date proper. We might be able to see more story on top of more gameplay, since the set pieces at GameStart Asia were behind closed doors only. This broadcast is probably one to replace the now cancelled E3 plans.
Enthusiasts can opt to obtain the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Xbox One X this coming June 2020, the final Xbox One X Limited Edition to be ever released. The console itself will be coming out ahead of the game, with the accompanying game to be upgraded for free to the Xbox Series X version once that comes out.
In any case, let’s just sit tight and stay tuned for the announcement.
