Minimum Requirements
Resolution | 1080p |
OS | Windows 7 (64-bit) |
CPU | Intel Core i5-3570K AMD FX-8310 |
GPU | GTX 780 Radeon RX 470 |
Memory | 8GB |
VRAM | 3GB |
Storage | 70GB HDD (SSD recommended) |
The bare minimum settings of this game will run on a GTX 780, which means that you’ll get the game playable even if you’re using a computer from the early 2010s. It even supports Windows 7, meaning the technological holdouts should get the game running, even if its not at its prettiest.
If you are running a machine in its golden years, you’ll probably be equal parts surprised and not surprised at all to find out Cyberpunk will take up 70GB of space on your hard drive. This can be a steep asking price for many older computers, especially since its the same size as the higher settings, which means you’re still downloading all the higher-end assets without necessarily using them.
Still, this is pretty generous when it comes to specs, and its a good thing to know that older computers can still get in and enjoy Cyberpunk 2077.
Maximum Requirements, RTX Enabled.
Resolution | 2160p |
OS | Windows 10 (64-Bit) |
CPU | Intel Core i7-6700 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 |
GPU | RTX 3080 |
Memory | 16GB |
VRAM | 10GB |
Storage | 70GB SSD |
At the height of luxury comes the “RTX Ultra” mode for Cyberpunk 2077, working your machine like a horse to get the peak graphical experience.
You’ll notice that its a lot less forgiving in the GPU department, using an RTX 3080 to achieve this. It’s not that big a step up from its 1440P “RTX High” setting, which uses a 3070, so unless you’re using a massive monitor don’t feel too pressured to get your computer running to this standard.
That being said, the SSD storage is mandatory here, as it helps optimize file writing to make sure your game loads before the day’s out.
While the Cyberpunk 2077 PC Specs’ maximum settings were to be expected, it’s interesting to know how accessible they’re making the game by giving it such low minimum specs. It should be noted that we have no confirmation how the game will actually behave at these settings, so its best to hold out if you’re on the lower spec end of the spectrum.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release December 10th on PC, PS4, Xbox One as well as their next-gen counterparts.
