It would seem that the teased Crysis project is Crysis Remastered according to a leak! An image, shared by Twitter user RobotBrush, highlights the following:
“Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and – for the very first time – Nintendo Switch.”
It certainly is interesting that they would be porting the game over to the Nintendo Switch, considering that the game is famed for its incredibly high graphical fidelity. Then again, The Witcher 3 has been successfully ported to the modest console, and Crysis would only be yet another addition to an incredible library of ports. You can see the image in full below:
The page was supposedly found in the metadata and has since been removed. We’ll see when they release official notice of this honestly pretty momentous possibility. Crysis Remastered may not be a new game, but it could pave the way for one should it being leaked is correct.
Remastered means “new graphic features”, “higher quality textures” and “CRYENGINE’s native hardware and API-agnostic ray tracing solution.” Those of you who’ve gotten the 10th gen processors and such, get ready to push that hardware to its new limit.
