The first episode of Attack of Titan: Final Season Part 2 has premiered and it is getting so much hype from fans that Crunchyroll and Funimation’s servers ended up going down for a bit under the strain of so many people trying to log in and stream it.
Both websites ended up going down a few minutes before the anime series was supposed to air at 12:45 pm PST (4:45 AM MYT).
Thankfully both servers have since gone back up, with Crunchyroll even leaving a tweet saying that they have resolved the issue with Attack on Titan and were deeply sorry for any inconvenience they’ve caused to the users.

This does sound like PR talk but hopefully, this issue will be resolved by next week when the second episode premiers (although I guess it’s technically the 17th or 76th). As of this article, Funimation has not commented on their website’s outage.
Attack on Titan: Final Season part 2, as its name suggests will be the finale of the Attack on Titan series. We can’t say a lot about it without going into spoilers but needless to say, it has fans and the anime community at large excited.
