While the infinite genre has been done to death for the mobile platform, so one would wonder how much a developer these days are able to give a fresh take on it. The upcoming game from developer Neon Chimp in the form of Crashbots is said to be as much of an action game as it is much as an endless runner.
After a rather long beta testing period, the developer announced that Crashbots will be making its way to Android and iOS on 2 November 2017, accompanied by a new trailer which showcases the best aspects of the game. The running and gunning action highlighted in the Crashbots trailer underlines the frantic gameplay one can expect from the final product. With two game modes, 75 levels and a five robots to unlock, there is much in here that will be able to keep you occupied. The boss fights in particular require a lot of strategies, as clever utilisation of auto-running lane swapping and targeting aiming is key to victory.
