Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled coming next year

Remember the good old days when Crash Team Racing reigned as one of the best racing games on the original Playstation? If no, then the opportunity has arrived. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will bring back the nostalgia next year.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is the HD remaster of the original game on the Playstation. Earlier today, Activision announced the game during The Game Awards 2018. A rather talkative, yet disturbing Crash Bandicoot appeared on the show before they played the trailer.

Based on the trailer, the game features major improvements in terms of graphics compared to the original as expected of a remaster. In general, the game did not change much as a whole. It features the same mechanics from the original, keeping the same fun and excitement. On the other hand, the remaster will have an online mode in addition to the offline mode which allows players to compete with others worldwide. The remaster will also come with new animations and personality that the original could not convey

Furthermore, the release of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Crash Team Racing. The original game first launched in 1999 on the Playstation. Activision truly developed the remaster for the fans.

The game will launch on the 21st June 2019. It will be available for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
