Games Workshop has announced a nice surprise for those who can’t attend the upcoming Warhammer Fest- there will be a playable build of the upcoming Warhammer 40K Warpforge, which includes the new Eldar faction.
The new army will feature the Saim-Hann Craftworld, a subfaction of the Craftworld Eldar focused on bikes and fast hitting attacks making their debut in Warhammer 40K: Warpforge.
From Games Workshop:
The new Warpforge demo will introduce players to a brand new faction, the Aeldari of Craftworld Saim-Hann! Prepare your jetbike-riding skills to lead the Wild Host kindreds of Saim-Hann to victory in battle! Renowned for its preference for fast, mobile warfare, this Craftworld commands an array of heavy-hitting vehicle-focused strategies and will make use of its new Shuriken weaponry and Spirit Stones mechanic to get the upper hand in battle.
From the images released, here’s a list of some units you can look forward to coming to the game:
- Eliac Zephyrblade (Autarch on Skyrunner)
- Anvirr Keltoc (Farseer)
- Ghaelyn (Autarch)
- Avatar of Khaine
The demo will also be playable at the Warhammer Fest event itself, where one lucky player will get to take home a painted miniature of Ork warboss Ghazkull Thraka.
Warpforge is set for release later this year, and features multiple factions from Warhammer 40K, such as Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Necrons, Tyranids and Orks.
That’s far from the only Warhammer card action happening at Warhammer Fest this weekend, however- they’ll also be holding a tournament for Everguild’s previous title, The Horus Heresy Legions with a prize of a painted miniature of the titular Horus himself.
