In a letter published today, game producer Masashi Yuda announced that the studio would no longer be developing content for the BanG Dream mobile game.
“Craft Egg and Bushiroad have continued to operate [Girl’s Band Party] as a joint operation up to this point. However, it has become difficult for Craft Egg to continue to operate [BanG Dream Girl’s Band Party] together with Bushiroad”, the letter reads.
“After discussions with Bushiroad, we have decided to ask Bushiroad to manage [Girl’s Band Party] on its own from now on”, the letter continues.
“Craft Egg will no longer be managing [Girl’s Band Party], but Bushiroad will continue to be the main operator of [Girl’s Band Party] and [BanG Dream]! We hope you will continue to support their story”.
Fans need not be concerned about the handover, however, as Bushiroad has also confirmed that all account data will continue to function as normal after the handoff on January 4th, 2024.
“Please be assured that you will be able to continue to enjoy this game as before”, Bushiroad says. “Changes to the operator’s name and other information displayed in the service will be handled sequentially from January 4 onward”.
