The Continental Cup 2018 is around the corner, happening on the 26th to 28th October 2018 during the Paris Games Week. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) had announced earlier that they will be hosting an exclusive opportunity for FIFA 19 fans to compete for a chance to attend the Continental Cup 2018. Players who wish to join can compete right at home from the PlayStation 4.
This is the first official EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series and a major opportunity for 32 of the best FIFA players from around the globe to compete for EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series Points. These points can be applied towards a chance to attend the EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs, in addition to cash prizes and a trip to the UEFA Champions League Finals in Madrid, Spain, in 2019.
Starting from 6th to 13th October 2018, fans who are interested in taking part in the tournament can check out the “Events” section on their PS4 Console for the full breakdown of rules and qualifying events taking place in the territories listed below. The sole winner of Asia qualifying events will represent the region and receive a ticket to Paris to compete against 31 other players in the CONTINENTAL CUP 2018 presented by PlayStation.
The CONTINENTAL CUP 2018 will also be livestreamed on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook from 26th to 28th October. Further details will be announced later.
