July 17 marks the arrival of the Judgment of Atlantis. This story arc concludes the post-launch story arc the Fate of Atlantis. It is live for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC. It is also the final large episodic narrative for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which started with Legacy of the First Blade.
Enter the world of Atlantis, featuring gorgeous architectural landscapes and clear water. It is also a hub for Isu knowledge and power. In this place, the player will face their hardest decisions yet in a land where humans and Isu co-exist. As ruler of Atlantis, Poseidon tries to maintain balance in this often unstable world. You, the hero dubbed the Diskastes, as judge of Atlantis, are his hope to bring harmony.
The episodes in the Fate of Atlantis have introduced new ability enhancements tied to different branches of the skill tree – Hunter, Warrior, and Assassin. Discover three new ability enhancements:-
- Ares Wrath, Warrior tree: Enhances the Ring of Chaos ability. Smash the ground with the Broken Spear to create an area of effect to slow down and damage enemies
- Blessing of Kronos, Assassin tree: Enhances the Venomous Attacks ability. Receive Isu power and become immune to Isu effects like Adrenalin Freeze and Adrenalin Drain. Also boosts Adrenalin gain and extends weapon range.
- Kronos’ Punishment, Assassin tree: Enhances the Call to Arms ability. Create a replica of yourself to stealth attack an enemy, perfect for assassinating without fear of exposure.
Judgment of Atlantis requires players to complete previous Fate of Atlantis episodes as well as:
- Following the main game: Between Two Worlds questline, the mythological main game story arc, and Lost Tales of Greece questline Heir of Memories, and character level 28.
- Without completing the main game: a shortcut is available to enter Greece at level 52 with all preset abilities and resources to access Heir of Memories. Player progression will not carry over to the main save, and achievements are locked.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s post-launch plan is the biggest and most ambitious of the franchise. Season pass owners have Legacy of the First Blade and the Fate of Atlantis, two major episodic storylines. Bundled in the pass are also Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered. Odyssey players can continue to get additional free content in story-focused, episodic Lost Tales of Greece alongside daily and weekly in-game events.
Purchase the Fate of Atlantis as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass at 39.99€ or as part of the Fate of Atlantis story arc for 24.99€. Players with the Season Pass and Gold Edition can download it now.
