During our time at Computex Taipei 2024, we got a chance to visit the MSI booth to check the latest and coolest technologies from the company.
This year’s highlights include the latest laptop developed in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport as well as its handheld gaming device, the MSI Claw clad in a design inspired by the Fallout series.
Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport
After the success of last year’s collaboration, MSI has once again partnered with Mercedes-AMG to introduce a new joint laptop – the MSI Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. This laptop features a design that combines the luxury and high-performance ethos of both brands, with a sleek design and special branding aimed at reminiscence racing cars from various angles. This laptop will come equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, as well as boasting an 18-inch screen.
In addition, the 16-inch model, the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, has also received an upgrade to provide a better user experience.
MSI Claw in the Fallout Wasteland
After the release of its handheld gaming device, MSI continues to be hard at work improving the MSI Claw – introducing the new MSI Claw 18 AI+, the world’s first handheld gaming console with an Intel Core Ultra processor. This new MSI Claw features an 8-inch FHD screen, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and a range of powerful configurations.
Moreover, MSI is collaborating with Bethesda to launch the Claw x Fallout limited edition, decorating the MSI Claw with a design inspired by the Fallout series’ Vaults, Pip-Boys, and the wasteland aesthetic – a fitting device to immerse yourself into the post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
Stealth A16 AI+
The Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport isn’t the only laptop showcased at this year’s Computex, as MSI also brought a lineup of new laptops to check out. One such laptop is the new Stealth A16 AI+, which MSI claims to be the lightest 16-inch gaming and creator laptop.
Its core specifications feature the AMD Ryzen AI 300, which has integrated graphics and NPU, with versions paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX40 series GPU provided. Its chassis is crafted with magnesium-aluminum alloy and is equipped with Cooler Boost 5 cooling system.
Prestige and Summit Series
Aside from that, MSI has also unveiled the latest generation of AI+ Prestige and Summit series business laptops – all come equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors, with AI performance improved from previous generations. Moreover, the processors boast 100 TOPS of AI performance and have optimized over 500 AI models, while still keeping the laptop thin with long battery life.
The new Prestige series laptops are available in 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch screens, and despite their larger battery life, the bodies remain lightweight and thin. For example, the Prestige 13 AI+ Evo weighs only 990 grams but is equipped with a 75Wh battery, providing enough power for a full day’s use according to the official statement. Its screen also supports touch functionality, and when used with the MSI Pen 2 stylus supporting MPP 2.6, offers a smooth and intuitive drawing and creative work experience.
