The PlayStation 5 console version of Company of Heroes 3 is scheduled to released on May 30th this year, with pre-orders for both the physical and digital version opening on April 26th.
This would mark the first time ever that the Company of Heroes franchise appear on consoles, and include some unique changes from the PC version such as a custom UI that is adapted for gamepads, full controller support, and special features that allow the players to play within their own pace.
One such feature would be the Full Tactical Pause, this gives players a level of tactical control over what’s happening on screen as battles can get chaotic in these type of games. While in Full Tactical Pause, players can think through their moves and coordinate their units actions easily without the pressure of doing it all in real-time.
The game will offer two types of single-player experiences which is the turn-based Italian Dynamic Campaign that offers a sandbox-style gameplay experience, as well as the more traditional, narrative-led single player experience taking place in the deserts of North Africa.
Company of Heroes 3 for the PlayStation 5 will also include multiplayer which has players competing against each other, or cooperating with each other against the AI.
