COGEN: Sword of Rewind announced for PS4, Switch and PC

At the Indie Live Expo 2020 digital event, Gemdrops announced its side-scrolling action game titled COGEN: Sword of Rewind or its Japanese title COGEN: 大鳥 こ は く と 刻 の 剣. The game will be available on the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam platforms in 2020. English, Japanese, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) and Korean language options will be supported.

An overview of the game on the official website, as translated by Gematsu, is given as follows:

A new sensation sword-fighting action game where immediate death is the strongest weapon.

Set on Earth in the far future, you will control the heroine Kohaku and solve the mysteries of Cogen City.

Using the “Ouroboros System,” which activates at the moment of immediate death, you can go back in time and fight without the fear of failure!

COGEN: Sword of Rewind will also feature music composed by Motoi Sakuraba, who has previously done music for the Tales of series, Star Ocean series, Golden Sun series, Dark Souls series, and more.
