Indonesian indie studio Toge Productions have confirmed an upcoming establishment of a Coffee Talk pop-up cafe in Shibuya.
According to an article released by PR Times, music cafe & bar QUATTRO LABO will host a pop-up cafe themed around the video game, titled “COFFEE TALK Episode 1.5~SHIBUYA PARCO”.
The pop-up cafe will run from 11am to 11pm throughout the entirely of June 2024 from the 1st to the 30th of the month.
Admission tickets to the cafe cost 500 yen each and will include a food and beverage set alongside one of two official merchandise.
A vast assortment of official merchandise will also be available to purchase at the cafe. For those who are vying for these items, the goods will be also available to pre-order from Parco’s online store from the 1st June 2024.
By attending, fans will be able to experience the world of Coffee Talk and even taste the menu items that appear in the game in real life.
We congratulate Toge Productions for pulling off this collaboration with a Japanese brand and we hope that this cafe will inspire other indie studios to pursue similar feats.
For those who want to try the game out before going to the pop-up cafe, Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly can be played on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Windows.
