Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Lost Stories has stopped being lost itself, with an announcement that development has been restarted. The game was planned to launch for mobile devices and PC, but had been shelved in March 2019. f4samurai is picking the project up again, to release on the same platforms.
You can now check out the teaser site here, as well as the official Twitter here. Code Geass: Lost Stories is dubbed a “Knightmare Frame battle RPG”, and is planned to launch in Spring 2022. It is said to be “recreating the stories and battles of the anime”, and features a player protagonist character who will be interacting in the story.
You can choose a male or female avatar to enjoy the fully voiced main story that will progress in the vein of the anime. The sprites will feature live2D as well. The battle portions promise “the power and performance of a full 3D TV anime”, where you’ll be able to train pilots and their Knightmare Frames and execute your strategies in combat.
Presumably the success of its fellow mobile game, Genesic Re;code, has encouraged the revival of the project. One hopes it won’t be region locked like its compatriot either.
