If you think the world had run out of ideas, there’s always fusion – where you fuse two ideas into one that creates a singular concept which gives birth to a new idea. Clash & GO is one, and the company, Elyland, does not deny it. The game utilizes Pokemon GO’s augmented reality and geolocation technology along with the world’s craze over blockchain technology. So players will be able to generate crypto-currency and watch it grow and turn them over into cold-hard cash.
Sure that sounds very convincing isn’t it? Since everyone is into crypto-currency, the developers have decided to merge the blockchain technology into a game where players can enjoy playing it and earn some CGO (Clash & GO coins) or cash at the same time.
As mentioned on the title, the game combines both the popular Clash of Clans’ base-building gameplay with Pokemon GO’s AR gameplay into one. Players will be able to experience real-time battles as the mechanics of the game allows. So how do you earn some of that CGO to turn into cold-hard cash?
You do it by battling with other players. Whether in the street, park or wherever you are where there’s someone to battle with in the virtual world like Pokemon GO. You can also capture local landmarks that exist on the map which will affect the influx of CGO tokens. Once you’ve earned enough CGO tokens, you can then convert them into Ethereum or Bitcoin, which can then later be turned into cash.
The game is pretty simple, but because money is at stake here, people are bound to be serious about it. The environment in the game changes every time you log into the game just like the ever-changing stock market. So even though you’re not on the game, the market will still continue to change as there are other players playing it which affects the influx of the CGO. Are you ready for some crypto-battle with other players? As these can be treated as real currency as well, you will need to be pretty hard working to play the game, battle players, capture landmarks and level up to catch up with the market. Are you ready for such commitment?
The game is out now for iOS and Android. For more info, you can check out their official site!
