Ahead of the release of its new TCG Chrono Ma:gia, game developer GungHo published a new video detailing the game mechanics. A number of cards which will be making its way to the final game is currently available for preview on the main site. Chrono Ma:gia will be released in both Japanese and English sometime in April 2018 for the Android and iOS platforms.
Chrono Ma:Gia is being produced and supervised by Yamamoto Daike, the brains behind the hit game Puzzle & Dragons, so you know this is in good hands. In any case, the video shows players having three fields for placing the creatures and cards they wish to deploy. Units comprising knights and dragons are at your disposal, as are spell cards that perform a variety of tasks such as buffs.
Cards aside, players will be able to recruit The Gifted, who are playable characters that have their own unique abilities that can alter the flow of the game. This adds a layer of depth as you will need to consider both deck composition and augmented abilities introduced by The Gifted.
