Chris Teng He Xun, founder and Chief Operations Officer of the Flux Group, has passed away, confirmed via the Flux Facebook page.
He was aged 23 when he passed away, turning 24 this year.
“It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our company director Chris Teng He Xun. You will always remain in our heart forever. May he rest in peace”, the statement reads.
There’s been an outpouring of grief and condolences on both the official Flux Group obituary, as well as his personal Facebook after the news was announced. The comments come not only from his colleagues at Flux, but also from other media companies as well, from those who knew him personally.

Pillar Of The Community
As the Chief Operations Officer, Chris Teng He Xun helped the Flux group become a core pillar in supporting the local esports and gaming scenes, providing production services for some of the biggest events in the country.
The group were most recently behind the All Star music video for Mobile Legends Bang Bang, where they’d posted the behind-the-scenes look in December of last year.
On top of that, they were also involved with the production of the promotional video for the ROG Phone 3 last year, which involved many local talents
