Blue Poch‘s Reverse: 1999 is supposedly fully translated in English, as well as having English voiceovers, according to an official developer interview. If you haven’t heard of it before, Reverse: 1999 is a mobile RPG that utilizes cards to battle, in essence.
The game recently concluded a closed beta, with another one to follow. This first closed beta only had Chinese text as there apparently issues in implementing the English text, but as it stands, all the other characters are fully dubbed in English. The original plan for the game does include releasing with English text and voice.
When it comes to game systems, there are plans to improve the battle system to include “field magic”, weather effects, speed modes and consideration for auto mode.
As exciting as that sounds, it’s not a confirmation of it launching simultaneously for worldwide audiences. It will at least be more easily accessible for those who are able to access the game. We’ll have to see if there are more concrete plans for a global release, either at the same time or following shortly after its China one. English language dubbing is quite unusual for a non-Western release, so if you’re interested in it, its pre-registration campaign is running, so go right ahead.
