China has banned more than 60 games from being live-streamed on the popular broadcast platform Bilibili.
Bilibili says that this is to adhere to the Ministry of Culture’s requirements of “not offering games with banned content such as GTA5, Yazkuza, Bloodless, H1Z1, Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, etc”.

Bilibili also said they will follow the requirements of the Ministry of Culture and other regulatory authorities to check live broadcasts of games and prohibit streams with graphic violence or pornographic content.
This is part of a movement within China to strengthen and standardize live broadcasts on the platform and create a good online cultural environment. These policies were actually penned as early as 2017 and have come alongside a number of other restrictions on gaming in China such as minors only being allowed to game for three hours a week.
This list will continue to be updated every year. If you’re planning to stream on Billibilli, best be careful and make sure the game you want to play is allowed on the platform.
