Developers and publishers Smilegate and Super Creative have released a teaser for upcoming game Chaos Zero Nightmare.
The game has been teased as an upcoming project on Super Creative’s official website since 2023.
Made by the studios behind Epic Seven, Chaos Zero Nightmare is officially described as a Cosmic Loop RPG set in a world where Earth has already been destroyed by something called the Chaos incident.
In the teaser, a report made by the narrator states that all remaining survivors have been forced to flee Earth after the incident, and that 15 rescue missions have been attempted since to comprehend the Chaos, called the Chaos Zero Project.
Unfortunately, all 15 missions have ended in failure, with its members having suffered extreme mental distress while on duty.
The regular reports ends right before the 16th mission begins, which will most likely also be the starting point of the game for players.
Some glimpses of character animations were also shown in the teaser, evoking a similar 2D art and animation style to Epic Seven.
Chaos Zero Nightmare is currently slated for a 2024 release, according to the description of its YouTube teaser. Despite this, the platform that the game will be released on is still unknown.
