Blizzard announced Chains of Domination , the first big content update for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.
At this year’s BlizzConline, they announced the new update with a story trailer, showing what’s happened to Anduin since last we left him in the Maw with Sylvanas and the Jailer.
They haven’t given actual details on what to expect from the Chains of Domination update for World of Warcraft, other than knowing that the story has advanced, with the Kyrian faction losing their Archon thanks to the machinations of the Jailer.
We also got a new look for Anduin, who’s received a new look after the Jailer infuses him with the power of the Maw. On top of that we finally know what the sword the Jailer forged has been for, as it steals the keys to freeing him from The Maw by killing the other Covenant leaders.
Based on the trailer, we also might see more content featuring Uther, who seems to have been reintegrated into the Kyrian after the story events of the base Shadowlands game.
We don’t have many more details, though Blizzard says that will soon change over the course of BlizzConline, as there are World of Warcraft panels, but it looks safe to assume that the coming story updates will focus on each of the game’s covenants.
