Seven Arcs has announced the release date for the upcoming ecchi-shonen anime Chained Soldier.
Dubbed Mato Seihei No Slave in Japan, Chained Soldier will release on January 4th, 2024 as part of the Winter anime lineup.
The announcement was quite low-key, being made via a Tweet without any kind of new promotional material to go with it.
Chained Soldier follows Yuuki Wakura, who becomes a slave to Kyouka Uzen as part of her power to fight monsters from Mato, a nightmarish other dimension.
However, this power comes at a cost, since Kyouka needs to “reward” him every time he uses her power with a variety of different fanservice scenarios like kissing.
Given that the world’s setting features only women being able to use the powers of Peaches, Yuuki is recruited into Kyouka’s 7th Squad of the Anti-Demon Corps where he’s surrounded by superpowered women who’ve never seen a man before.
The first episode was shown at Anime Festival Asia 2023, as well as other events like Anime NYC.
Similarly, in the lead up to the anime’s release the official YouTube channel is also putting out featurettes for the other ladies that make up Kyouka’s squad.
The series is based on a manga of the same title which is currently ongoing.
