Razer has unveiled the latest iterations of their 14″, 16″, and 18″ Razer Blade gaming laptop lineups at CES 2024, introducing them with updated displays and more.
At CES 2024, Razer revealed their latest lineup of Razer Blade gaming laptops with a highlight on the Blade 16, which will be getting what the company boasted as the world’s first 16″ 240Hz QHD+ OLED display with a 0.2ms response time.
The Blade 16 is not the only one getting a refresh as the Blade 18 will be the first laptop in the world to feature a 18″ 4K 165 Hz display and the latest Thunderbolt 5 technology.
Additionally, the next generation of Blade 14 will be equipped with the latest AI-accelerated Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU as well as the AI-powered AMD Ryzen 9 processor.
Razer Blade 16
As mentioned, the Blade 16 will have the world’s first 16-inch 240Hz QHD+ (2560×1600) resolution OLED display with a 0.2 ms response time.
The display will also be Calman Verified and factory-calibrated with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Aside from the display, the new Razer Blade 16 will come with the Intel Core i9-14900HX processor, capable of overclocking through the Razer Synapse application.
It will also come with up to Nvidia RTX 4090 laptop graphics with 175 W Full TGP (Total Graphics Power and DLSS 3 technology, while its new patented vapor chamber technology is said to ensure optimal performance while under intense gaming sessions.
The Razer Blade 16 will be available on 8 January 2024 at the starting price of $2999.99 USD (RM 13,950.00~) MSRP
Razer Blade 18
On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 will also be getting a significant screen upgrade, moving from the 2023 model’s QHD 240Hz panel to the first 4K 18-inch 165Hz display in the world.
Additionally, the Razer Blade 18 will also be equipped with Intel’s latest Thunderbolt 5 connectivity ports, which was announced in September 2023.
The new Thunderbolt 5 boasts 80 Gbps/Up to 120 Gbps bandwidth, allowing users to connect multiple high-resolution gaming displays, high-speed storage, and all-in-one docks.
More information on the Razer Blade 18 will be unveiled later in 2024.
Razer Blade 14
The 14-inch Razer Blade 14 will also see a refresh, now updated with the new Ryzen 9 8945HS processor and up to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 on a 4.05 lbs. light laptop.
Moreover, the screen for the new Razer Blade 14 will be a Calman Verified QHD+ 240Hz display, making it a suitable laptop for creativity and productivity use,
Additionally, the Blade 14 will also come with upgradeable DDR5 memory and the latest connectivity options including USB4 and Wi-Fi 7.
The Blade 14 will be available for pre-order on the 23rd of January, 2024, and pricing details will be announced closer to that date.
Razer Blade 2024
This generation, the Razer Blade chassis is also set to feature an aluminum unibody design for durability, a titanium plate for rigidity, and an anodized finish for increased resistance.
Both the Blade 14 and 16 will be available in Black or Mercury at launch and every new Razer Blade will have Calman Verified displays, expertly calibrated while the new Dynamic Lighting support on Windows 11 further enhances the Razer Chroma.
In addition, the laptops will also feature full THX integration via Razer Synapse for better audio and enable users to customize their own EQ profiles or select from a variety of optimized ones.
The laptops will also come with 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as well as the continued offer of a battery warranty of up to 2 years with RazerCare available in select regions for up to 3 years of additional coverage.
