Happy 35th anniversary to Dragon Quest! The milestone is being celebrated with a slew of releases, with three planned for simultaneous worldwide releases. If you missed out on the commemorative livestream announcing these titles, the Dragon Quest 35th anniversary livestream has been archived below:
- Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate is the next mainline title in the series, following in the success of 11 and its Definitive Edition selling over 6.5 million copies worldwide
- Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is planned for a console release, giving the game a new visual look with 3D effects to pixel art
- Dragon Quest Treasures is a new spinoff title featuring Erik and Mia as they embark on a treasure hunting adventure before the events of 11 during their childhood
- Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi is a free to play mobile puzzle game featuring popular series characters, monsters and items as erasers to erase graffiti in the game. Title is provisionary
A sale will run until 9 June across various platforms for select titles of the series. For details, you should check your respective regional digital store fronts. 12, 3 HD-2D Remake and Treasures will release information regarding release windows and platforms at a later time.
