Bushiroad has just announced Cardfight!! Vanguard Zero, an adaptation of its popular trading card game for Android and iOS.
The announcement is accompanied by a new season for the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime which will tell a whole new story where protagonists Aichi Sendou and Toshiki Kai reprise their roles.
The game itself will release in Japan sometime in Winter 2018. Unlike most announcements for new games, an English language version has also been confirmed, although its release window is unknown at this point. Bushiroad revealed that the story mode that will let players relive the anime on top of being able to engage with opponents online.
Being one of the more played card games around, there is little doubt that the mobile version will be able to win over new users, particularly those who like the convenience of the digital format.
