Caravan Stories: Academy of Magic mobile spin-off accepting pre-registrations

MMORPG Caravan Stories is getting a mobile spin-off game known as Caravan Stories: Academy of Magic. Pre-registrations are currently being accepted for the game, which presently appears to be only available for Japan unlike the original game.

Above is an upcoming livestream for the game, scheduled for 15 April 2022, 20:00 JST. It will feature the voice actors of the game and guests for a deeper dive into its worldview and content.

Caravan Stories: Academy of Magic takes place eight years ago from the present timeline of Caravan Stories, with our cute cast of students studying the theories and practicals of magic in the titular academy. It seems that you might be able to meet familiar someones in their younger days…

As for the game itself, it looks to be a portrait mode rogue-like game. Use your finger to move around on the screen, with auto attacking. As you progress, you can come across a variety of skills, with the options available to you chosen at random. See if you can put together some explosive combo! Raise characters both from the original and those of eight years ago and help them hone their abilities here.

We’ll see if this game also gets localized for a wider audience eventually, but for now, fans can keep an eye out for this.
