Japan-based KLab has just announced that its football simulator Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team for the Android and iOS platforms has gotten a huge update.
The Boundary Break Update will see users being welcomed by a new campaign, encompassing login bonuses, updated match functions, and of course an updated roster which will see the inclusion of players such as Roberto Hongo, Carlos Santana and Thoram. As mentioned, the Match Function has been tweaked accordingly to now allow players active a special skill in the form of a Ground Shot. Furthermore, players can run test matches using their own deck. Neat additions also include Quick Match, Friendly Match, Random Match and Group Match which will see the ball running quicker, so to speak.
As for the titular Boundary Break, it is much easier now to uncap players, as you just need to do it with another player of the same name. Furthermore, a new UR Okawa Manabu limited transfer item has been introduced, which can subsequently be used once a player hits the Level 4 Boundary Break cap.
Of course, to commemorate the update, the developer of Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team has put in new event missions as well as a player 10-player ticket transfer event to entice newcomers and reward the existing userbase alike. There is also the Update Celebration login bonus which will see everyone getting up to 150 Transfer Tickets just by booting up the game and entering the home page. Lastly, a special event has been included to allow players to earn “Tomorrow’s Field Medals” that can be exchanged for a variety of in-game items. Be sure to check out the patch notes for more.
