News began to trickle in yesterday about a major new game from Capcom that’s in the works. Now, we have preliminary confirmation that the game in question is a new mobile card game codenamed Project Battle.
According to Siliconera (thanks!), Project Battle is a card game made for Android and iOS devices. It will feature characters and card designs based on Capcom’s various games, making it a massive Capcom crossover.
To start, players pick a leader from multiple classes, each with three unique ultimate skills. Next, you build a 30-card deck consisting of unit and action cards to battle opponents. Sounds pretty standard for a card game, but this game does have its own unique mechanics, which you can see in the videos below.

You can expect brand-new artwork and design for the various Capcom characters. This is not only great for keeping the art style consistent but also means that those from very old games won’t look weird.
There hasn’t been any official news from Capcom yet and we have no idea when it will be launching. But we’ll be keeping an eye on this game so stay tuned!
