Capcom Has Some Resident Evil News Coming Tomorrow

The Capcom Resident Evil official Twitter account has made a post telling fans to watch out for some news about the franchise tomorrow.

The tweet says that “there’s something suspicious” going on and that more will be revealed tomorrow on the 16th of February at 16:00 JST (15:00 MYT).

The use of the tag #REBHFun suggests that this may be a smaller, more lighthearted announcement however with the recent rumors that Capcom is working on a remake of Resident Evil 4, some are speculating it could be more.

Yesterday, Capcom announced a website with a countdown timer, which is due to finish on the 21st of February next week. This Resident Evil tweet seems to be completely unrelated to the timer.

Fans have also been speculating that the Capcom countdown could be for something related to Resident Evil. Other rumors are that it will be related to Street Fighter or another fighting game as it roughly lines up with the end of the Capcom Pro Tour 2021.
