Capcom has revealed an exciting lineup for their showcase at gamescom asia 2024, featuring key figures from two of their most popular franchises. The event, set to take place on Saturday, October 19th, will highlight Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6.
Monster Hunter fans will be thrilled to learn that Series Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto will be present to discuss Monster Hunter Wilds. Tsujimoto, who has been overseeing the Monster Hunter series since 2007, will take the stage in the afternoon to share insights about the upcoming game and interact with fans. Following his presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Meet and Greet session.
For Street Fighter enthusiasts, Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto will also make an appearance. Their segment will include fan interactions and live gameplay matches on stage. Nakayama, who joined Capcom in 2001, has a long history with the company and has worked on previous Street Fighter titles. Matsumoto, now serves as the producer for Street Fighter 6.
In addition to these appearances, Capcom has announced a special “Hunter Campaign” for Monster Hunter fans. This exclusive opportunity offers a one-on-one autograph and photo session with Ryozo Tsujimoto, as well as a priority ticket for the Monster Hunter Wilds demo.
Adding to the excitement, Capcom’s booth will feature two renowned cosplayers, Charess and Vera Chimera as special guests. Charess will be portraying Alma, the skilled Handler from Monster Hunter Wilds. Vera Chimera will be cosplaying as Gemma, the talented smithy from the Research Commission in Monster Hunter Wilds.
