Today, Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, and Tan Min-Liang, CEO of Razor, met at the ASEAN Summit. They met on the sidelines to discuss esports, fintech and the youth.
Justin Trudeau is a well-known advocate of the gaming industry in Canada. Under him, Canada’s gaming industry improved and publishers like Ubisoft have major studios in the country.
Both parties had a positive conversation regarding gaming, esports and fintech innovation in Canada. Other than that, they discussed about using these platforms to better engage today’s youths.
Unfortunately, the details of their conversation are still unknown at this current time. However, Razer stated that “we will have more exciting news to share in the near future”.
To wrap up the conversation, Tan presented Trudeau with some gifts. They include a customised Team Razor jacket, Razer peripherals and other souvenirs.
