It’s been about half a week since the reveal of Cammy in Street Fighter 6, where she stunned fans with a weirdly sensual stretching pose.
Seeing Cammy pose like this caused me to pass out from all of my blood in my upper body be rushed to… other places😳 https://t.co/1zSseKGgqQ

Naturally, the Internet has taken notice of this, and rather than lament the character’s adoption of pants is instead celebrating just how good the character looks stretching her muscles.
Over on Twitter, dozens of artists are drawing what’s been dubbed the Cammy Pose- namely stretching your arms while pushing your hips pretty far back.
The Internet is as the Internet does, however, so don’t expect all of it to be typical lewd art- many have instead gotten creative with who, exactly, was in need of such a big stretch.
One such of these was a fellow Street Fighter, whose amount of exposed skin was drastically reduced in the new title:

It wasn’t just Zangief, however- to some artists, even small considerations like “not legally being Street Fighter characters” would stop them from performing pre-exercise stretching.
I jumped on the Cammy Pose bandwagon with everybodys husband Waluigi

Sometimes, not even being fictional is enough to stop you from getting drawn as Cammy- just ask Patrick “PatStaresAt” Boivin, whose fans thought it appropriate to honor his love for the series by having him strike the same pose.
So I made this little doodle of @PatStaresAt doing the new Cammy pose, and @PeachSaliva is … "respecting" it. pic.twitter.com/8NcpQ0iCMv

It’s always fun when these kind of trends break out into the mainstream- we saw it previously with the Jack O pose, another act of superhuman spine integrity that’s even inspired unofficial figure makers.
Trends like these are a sign of a community that’s actually interested in your game- even if it’s just for a hot member of the British Special Forces.
