Vtuber Calliope Mori ‘s new EP, “Your Mori”, has reached the no.2 spot on iTunes less than 24 hours after launch, according to data analysis site Kworb.
The EP launched yesterday in conjunction with the Vtuber’s birthday, and features new tracks performed by Mori. The album’s currently available on streaming sites like Apple Music and Spotify, although one of the tracks is exclusive to physical versions of the EP.
This isn’t the first time Calliope Mori has rocketed to the top of iTunes. She’d done the same with her first EP, Dead Beats. According to Mori’s Twitter, her birthday EP also sat at number one in the Hip-Hop charts in both USA and Japan.
Calliope Mori has had an eventful music career since her debut late last year as part of Hololive’s English off-shoot, Holomyth. She’s even done a special collaboration song with Princess Connect Re:Dive, as well as performed the title track for the Hololive Alternative video.
Your Mori launched on April 4th, in collaboration with Calliope Mori’s birthday. She had a special livestream to celebrate with her listeners, announcing new merchandise such as a body pillow, as well as premiering the music video for the track Red off of the Your Mori EP.
