Publisher Activision Blizzard has announced that the Limited Release of the anticipated upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been expanded to include Malaysia.
As Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile approaches its worldwide launch this spring, Activision Blizzard announced that they are inviting players in Malaysia to join the Limited Release phase of the battle royale on the go.
The battle royale has already been available in a handful of other countries, namely Australia, Sweden, Norway, Chile, and Germany, players in Malaysia will now be able to join Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and play.
In the latest Limited Release update, the game received a wide variety of gameplay features and performance tweaks, including access to the new Call of Duty: Modern Warframe III Battle Pass and its associated content, and more.
Limited Release
The Limited Release is a work-in-progress version that Activision Blizzard opens up to a much larger audience than their original Closed Alpha to gain feedback in a real-world environment.
This version of the game keeps the player base small enough for stress test matches and progression, and collects feedback and insights on a variety of the game’s aspects alongside finding, eliminating, and fixing bugs and glitches.
Despite that, most key features including shared progression and social connection with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, multiplayer, in-game events, original content, and more are still available during the Limited Release period.
However, note that some pieces of content, features, modes, and more may be partially completed and continually updated leading up to the launch.
If you are unaware, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile brings in the gunplay, movement, and vehicles of the original console version to mobile devices along with its Operators, Weapons, and locations while allowing for up to 120 live players in a match.
Utilizing the shared technology across the recent entries of the Call of Duty series, players can access cross-progression that enables shared Battle Pass and share many social features such as friends and chat channels.
Now featuring gameplay on the go, the mobile version will also feature mobile-specific events, playlists, and content as well as deep control customization options.
