Activision-Blizzard has announced Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, bringing the popular Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale style of gameplay to smartphones.
This was announced on the official Call of Duty youtube channel in an eight-second long teaser simply showing a plane flying straight towards the camera before the title comes up.
“Introducing Call of Duty: Warzone, a new Call of Duty experience being developed for mobile.”
Little information was given about the game itself, including its release period. The description for the game however further says that more information will be revealed about the game as part of the Call of Duty Next Presentation that will take place on the 15th of September at 9:30 AM PT (12:30 AM MYT).
Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game for PC and consoles. While it is currently unconfirmed how the game will be adapted for mobile devices here are the details about the console version of the game presented on its PSN page:
