Call of Duty: Warzone will be getting new content with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 13th, 2020. All Black Ops and Modern Warfare content will be available to Warzone players with either game.
Though the popular Battle Royale mode came as a part of Modern Warfare, Activision says you’ll be able to access the game through the new Black Ops title, and will even be able to play with people playing from Modern Warfare.
Warzone will support both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which launches November 13th. For the first time in Call of Duty history, Season One brings universal and synchronized player progression that works between Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Warzone. Black Ops Cold War progression builds on a familiar and similar path to Modern Warfare while incorporating an innovative Prestige system, giving you more challenges and earnable content.
On top of that, Call of Duty: Warzone will also be getting a content update, adding content from Black Ops: Cold War to the game.
They’ll also be rebranding the game’s seasons using the Black Ops name. Call of Duty: Black Ops Season 1 will start the same day that Cold War launches, November 13th. Starting from this season progression will also sync across the multiple games.
