Godzilla may be coming to Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard, according to the trailer and tweets posted by Call of Duty. Earlier today, the game’s YouTube channel posted the trailer for Season 3, which you can watch below:
The trailer follows up on Nebula Gas, a chemical weapon introduced at the start of Season 2 and how the Nazis have weaponised it. In the Season 3 trailer, it seems that the gas has “awakened” something big. At the end of the video, what appeared to be the sound of an ORCA, a sonic beacon used to attract Titans from 2019’s Godzilla: King of Monsters.
Another strong hint at the collab was a tweet made from the official Call of Duty Twitter account, which posted an audio file of sorts, requesting netizens to run the audio through a spectrogram. Various Twitter users proceeded to do just that, and the phrase “Monsters Are Real” can be seen through their software, further lending credence to the idea that Godzilla is coming.
I checked it on Audacity, looks like it says "Monsters are real" pic.twitter.com/mLdLJydyEg

The idea of Godzilla coming to Call of Duty certainly doesn’t seem so far-fetched anymore. If Activision Blizzard could get players to dress up as the Attack on Titan‘s Armored Titan and run around the map shooting everybody, what’s stopping them from giving players human-sized kaiju avatars?
