Hope you pre-registered for Call of Duty: Mobile! Activision has announced the game will release on Android and iOS 1 October. Developed by Tencent’s Timi Studio, the free-to-play title pulls inspiration from the Call of Duty franchise, including Modern Warfare and Black Ops. Garena will be publishing the game for Southeast Asia.
Players will be able to dive right into multiplayer and battle royale modes at launch. Time-limited events and playlists will see regular updates. Players will be able to compete in Call of Duty classics like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-for-All in Multiplayer. Popular maps such as Nuketown, Crash, and Hijacked are also expected in the map rotation.
The battle royale mode should be familiar to most by now. 100 players will drop in to a map and fight to be the last one standing. Be it solo, duos or four-person teams, you’ll all need to find weapons and vehicles across the map. They have been adjusted accordingly for the mobile game.
Players can look forward to content like Call of Duty zombies. All countries with Google Play and App Store support – except mainland China, Vietnam and Belgium – will be able to play. Learn more on their website here.
