The beta dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have been officially confirmed and reavealed. Additionally, the beta will mark a significant first since it will be accessible simultaneously across all platforms.
CharlieIntel said that the information was revealed during a Call of Duty podcast on YouTube. Here are the details for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta:
Early Access: August 30 to September 4
Open Beta: September 6 to September 9
For the past several years, Call of Duty betas have been exclusive to PlayStation platforms. This time, Game Pass subscribers and those who pre-order Black Ops 6 will receive early access to the beta. The open beta, meanwhile, will be available to all players.
The game was first unveiled in May after months of speculation from fans. Treyarch developed Black Ops 6 as the latest installment in the series. Activision also revealed details about the game, including multiplayer, Zombies, and a campaign set in the 1990s. True to its Black Ops heritage, the game explores a paranoid narrative where trust is a rare commodity and reality is often uncertain.
Black Ops 6 has been a hot topic lately, especially since recent Game Pass updates introduced a “Standard” tier without day-one releases. Nevertheless, the game will be available on Game Pass at launch for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for Console.
Scheduled for release on October 25, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
