Bushiroad D4DJ Franchise Announcements

Bushiroad had just made several announcements for its DJ-themed multimedia franchise D4DJ, one of the announcements was the upcoming OBT for their mobile game titled D4DJ Groovy Mix.

D4DJ First Mix Anime Announcements

The TV anime “D4DJ First Mix” will premiere on 30th October 2020. The anime centers around Rinku Aimoto, who just returns to Japan and transfer to Yoba Academy. Moved by the DJ live show at the school, she decides to form a DJ unit with her classmate Maho Akashi, Muni Ohnaruto and Rei Togetsu. There, she meets other talented DJ units, including Peaky P-key and Photon Maiden, while aiming to create the best DJ performance in the world.

“Fullmetal Alchemist” director Seiji Mizushima is directing the series at SANZIGEN Animation Studio. Bushiroad is credited with the original work, and the company’s founder and president Takaaki Kidani is the executive producer. “BanG Dream!’s” Ko Nakamura is credited with the original story.

“D4DJ Groovy Mix” Mobile Game

The upcoming“D4DJ Groovy Mix” mobile game will open for beta test from 18th to 24th October 2020. A total of 50 songs will be playable and the song list will be updated everyday.

Though in-app purchases are not available, all other contents will be available in the beta version. Data from the beta version is transferable when the game is officially released on 25th October. The trial version “D4DJ Groovy Mix D4U edition” will end in late September.

To celebrate the game’s pre-registration reaching 777,777 milestones, the cover version of “H-A-J-I-M-A-R-I-U-T-A-!!”from “Tokyo 7th Sisters” will be added to the game. Arranged songs from Touhou Project including “Koiiro Master Spark” and “U.N. Owen Was Her?” are also playable in the game.
