World of Warcraft Classic has released an ode to returning heroes, celebrating the launch of the upcoming Burning Crusade Classic expansion for the game.
The ode is a short song about what players can look forward to in the Burning Crusade, honoring players who played through the game 14 years ago. The song is performed by Jordan Fisher, who also highlights popular player experiences, such as wiping to Kael’Thas or the Fel Reaver.
The video itself is surprisingly well-produced, featuring extensive costuming, as well as mutlitple cameos, including one by Hellboy and Monster Hunter actor Ron Perlman.
Burning Crusade Classic is the first expansion for World of Warcraft Classic, the re-release of the original World of Warcraft experience. The expansion comes out June 1st with the pre-patch available now, and will feature two new races, as well as a whole new zone as players step through the Dark Portal, just as they did 14 years ago in the original Burning Crusade.
Burning Crusade is one of the most iconic World of Warcraft expansions, followed closely by Wrath of the Lich King. Burning Crusade is responsible for the famous character Illidan, as well as his now-infamous catchphrase, “You are not prepared!”. Players will be able to play the game using their one World of Warcraft subscription.
