If you’re looking for cute girls and frantic action gameplay, why not try Bullet Break? A free-to-play “pulling” line defense game, you’ll need a good sense of strategy and timing to clear stages!
The line at the bottom is where you fire from. It’s also where you don’t want enemies to cross! Think of it as a brick breaker game of sorts, just with cute girls and various alien enemies. The girls are the bullets you use to break through the enemies. Pull them back and see them shoot across the screen!
Enemies crossing the line aren’t the only things that can hurt you. Seems that these enemy “bugs” – fitting since it’s supposed to be in a virtual world – can also fire projectiles!
The characters you fire will remain on the field until their cool down ends. You can send another character crashing into them to get them off the field faster! You’d need to balance between your offense and defense. How are you going to clear the waves to get a clean shot at the boss?
Here’s where super skills, or “Break Shots” come in. At a certain point, your characters will be able to use their special abilities! These would typically pierce enemy lines, killing them and letting you hit the boss directly. Watch as the enemies disintegrate to sheer power!
You’ll need to have both weak and strong characters in your party, of course. The stronger ones can be used to break through waves, while you need the weaker ones for spamming and getting the other characters off the field. The game certainly looks deceptively simple, with layers left to explore in the real time battles!
Bullet Break has a gacha to get higher rarity characters, the highest being 5*. You can also get equipment pieces, so even a low rarity character can become amazing with the right gear. As always, balance it out, and don’t focus entirely on character rarity!
If the game reaches 100,000 pre-registrations, they can get a special 4* character, along with various goodies and currency!
Check out their website and Twitter for further updates. Bullet Break is scheduled for a September 2019 release.
