Developer and publisher Neowiz has raised the age rating of Brown Dust 2 to 19+ in Korea.
In an official announcement made on Naver, the company stated that the change will be applied upon the commencement of game’s maintenance on 25 April 2024.
The age rating for the global version of Brown Dust 2 will remain untouched at 12+ on the App Store and Teen on Google Play.
Following this change, Korean players will be required to verify their age before gaining access to the game. Underage players will be locked out of their accounts until they are legally recognized as adults in Korea.
As compensation, underage players born before 25 April 2005 will be able to request refunds for any purchases made in the game.
Korean players can request a refund for any Dia, the premium currency of the game, that has remained unused by contacting Brown Dust 2’s customer support at [email protected].
Note that legal proof of being a minor such as a proof of family relationship, mobile phone subscription receipt, or a payment statement will be required to request for a refund.
Brown Dust 2 can be played now on iOS and Android mobile devices.
